Thank you for your interest our organization. This website is owned and operated by Allen County Education Partnership (ACEP), a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. ACEP understands the importance in protecting the privacy of our online visitors. At our site, we do not collect personally identifiable information from individuals. In other words, we do not require you to register or log-in to our site in order to view it. In addition, we do not share any personal information about you (collected through applications, surveys, etc.) with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

The following items give more detail about privacy matters as well as giving you explicit directions on how to contact us for any reason.

We have several downloadable applications on our website for our various programs. These applications obviously ask for identifiable information including name, address, phone, email, and sometimes emergency contact information. Also, when an applicant is seeking a VOLUNTEER position with ACEP, we conduct background checks to ensure the safety of students in our programs. In order to do this, we require a prospective volunteer to provide date of birth, social security number, and driver’s license number. All of this information is strictly confidential and is used solely for the purpose of the background check.

ACEP conducts surveys at the conclusion of our programs to help us understand what went well and what we can improve upon. The data gathered from these surveys is also used to compile statistics in order to obtain funding for future programming. No personally identifiable information is ever used unless written consent is given. For example, we may request to use an encouraging quote about a program in a brochure.

We want you to be aware that non-personal information and data may be collected by our website through the use of "cookies". A cookie is a small string of text stored on your web browser that can interface with our website to track site usage behavior and compile aggregate data. In this way, we can identify what parts of our website are most frequented and make improvements as necessary. A cookie is not able to capture your email address or pass on a computer virus. If a visitor to our website does not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows this function to be disabled.

Our website has links to other sites and services that are not maintained by Allen County Education Partnership. These links are merely listed for your convenience and we bear no responsibility for their content. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these sites as needed.

Please include your full name and address in the body of the email to ensure that we delete the correct entry from our records.
